Data Modeler

Job descriptions: 

  • Develop business applications using SAS enterprise guide, SAS Data Integration Studio , SAS Model Implementation Platform (MIP) and other SAS related software. 
  • Develop professional deliverables such as Functional Specifications, Data Mapping, E2E Design, Business Rule. 
  • Get requirements from customers, then analyze, design, consult, train users and support. 
  • Analyze requirements and consult/provide solutions with design of flows, programs or methods. 
  • Adapt to changing customer requirements. 
  • Provide troubleshooting, Investigate defects and technical advice to clients. 
  • Working and collaborating with others on consulting projects and special projects. 
  • Collect Business Requirement Document and provide Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM). 
  • Design and develop Extract-Transformation-Loading (ETL).
  • Configure and implement the enhancement Model
  • Perform Prototype and Unit Test (UIS) document to review result and confirm logic. 
  • Maintain and improve system follows Change or New requirement. 
  • Support System Integration Test (SIT), User acceptance Test (UAT) and incident on Production by query data and investigate the root cause of incorrect.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications & experience:

  • Bachelor and/or Master degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, IT, or any related fields. 
  • 2-3 years background experience in data analyst, Banking or any related fields 
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with users with various technical backgrounds. 
  • Good technical skill, preferably in analytic and reporting software such as Base SAS, SAS Model Implementation Platform (MIP) SAS DI would be advantage.
  • Knowledge of a variety of data structure, database, and data warehouse (e.g., structure data, unstructured data, data management).
  • Experience using programming languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to extract, load, and transform data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Motivation, drive, and a self-starting attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
  • Have a CAN DO Attitude.
  • Good time management with strong organizational skills.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English.
